This year The Danberry Treasure Chest had their 21st Annual Charity Auction Dinner on November 12th at The Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons. The event brought in almost 400 guests and over a hundred donated auction items. Final numbers on what the charity event raised will available in late December.

The night began with a bang as guests were invited to play at game tables located outside the main ballroom of The Hilton Garden Inn. Donations were given to acquire chips and the games began with enthusiasm and excitement by many attendees. Refreshments were obtained and others walked the ballroom where silent auction items lined four tables available for purchase. Lievens Market dressed the space with beautiful fall arrangements on each table and volunteers offered raffle tickets for sale. The grand raffle prize of 2015 was a $1,500 voucher to Ottawa Hills Travel for a getaway of the winners choosing. Jerry Anderson, the event MC, hyped up the audience with announcements on the year's event. Michelle Rumans, event chair, invited everyone to enjoy the evening and tended to other event details as the night went on. Dinner was served and soon after the live auction took place with Auctioneer Jack Amlin offering guests fabulous condo packages, football tickets, getaways, and more; raising item bids for the Danberry Treasure Chest fund that directly benefits local families in need.

The event came to a close with guests using the quick check out run by volunteers and members of the Danberry staff alike. Fun was had by all for a great cause, look to Danberry's blog at
